I got numerous emails saying that a refund was being processed, but no refund ever took place. At this point, I've given up. On October 31st, 2026, Monday morning, my Toyota tundra alarm blared while I was parked in the hotel garage at Wayfair in Los Angeles. I reached out to several locksmith companies for assistance and chose the one that provided the most competitive quote. A technician arrived and began working on my vehicle. He managed to disable the alarm, but unfortunately, he couldn’t repair my remote control. When he finished, he presented me with an unexpected $666 invoice, which was significantly higher than the quoted price. To add to my concerns, he demanded payment exclusively in cash or Zelle, which raised immediate red flags. I politely declined to pay and informed him that I would contact someone else. The technician responded with a dismissive remark, “I have your car keys, you need to pay me.” This statement made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe under pressure. I decided to pay using my credit card. However, the technician also took photos of my ID and credit card, which I found highly inappropriate and concerning. Today, I contacted the company’s office and spoke with the manager to report the incident. Instead of addressing my concerns, the manager dismissed them and sided with the technician. This experience has left me feeling violated and concerned about potential fraudulent activity, misconduct, and improper handling of personal information. Given the nature of the incident, I’ve requested that the company provide a refund for the fraudulent charge, remove any photos or copies of my ID and credit card from their records, and conduct a BBB review of their business practices. He responded everything seemed fine then he said I had to have a SOP and a VPL, which I felt was odd considering I had submitted my resume and cover letter per his instructions. In order to do a SOP and a VPL seeing as I was unaware of this new request and I am in need of a job I agreed to the $60 for the service. Yes it took me time to pay it because I did have a family emergency hit in the process but never ever did I deny owing it or was I ever willing to pay even after further research. As of today I have heard nothing in regards to a job offer or even job options. I started receiving emails from a female who claimed I owed $60. (Jane Annabel) Was Still receiving emails from a Henry Watt about $60. Which I ended up doing $125.00 because I do not have any of the crypto pays, Apple Pay nothing and they demanded it in an apple gift card. Henry watt used AI and charged me an incredible amount of money. I have emails with all three people. This has put me in a financial hardship because I have been out of work since December and then with a family emergency. I tried contacting United health care but they have no emails to reach them.

Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill - Logistics Express Company

A person contacted our business requesting a quote for a large order of 100 custom banners. After agreeing to the product pricing, the individual insisted that we use a specific third-party freight company to ship the order to Hawaii, even though we offered a much less expensive shipping option through our normal carrier. The third-party freight company quoted approximately $4,240 for shipping. The customer insisted on using that company and asked us to include the freight charges in the total invoice. We sent the customer a secure credit-card payment link, but the individual did not want to use the link and instead requested to provide the credit-card information over the phone. After the payment was processed, the actual cardholder contacted our company and advised us that the charge was unauthorized. We immediately reversed the payment and stopped the order before any products were placed into production or any money was paid to the freight company. Based on the circumstances, this appears to have been a stolen-credit-card/freight-forwarding scam in which the scammer intended for our business to collect funds from a fraudulent credit card and then send a portion of those funds to a third-party shipping company selected by the scammer. Warning signs included the unusually large first-time order, insistence on a specific expensive freight company despite cheaper alternatives, refusal to use our secure online payment link, and request to provide credit-card information by phone.

Then when I started pushing back and I made it very clear that I knew it was a scam I literally laughed at them and told them. They are mistaken if they think I actually think this is legit. They got really rude and hung up on me. Both the person who called me and the person from the 888 number. This first time I called the lady was very unprofessional and rude. She said my connection sucked and she couldn’t hear me. I responded with that was very rude and unprofessional, she then immediately hung up.

Received a phone call that said my name and said to hit 1 if I was that person. I hit 1 and the woman who answered said she was with Kirkland Myer Resolution. I told her that they called me and asked what they wanted. She tried to get me to verify the last 4 of my SSN at which time I said first you will tell me what the hell you want to which she responded by hanging up on me. I then googled Kirkland Myer to find out they are a shyster debt collector and figured this was a scam. On further investigation it seems they are indeed a scam. I went to their web site and sent them a cease and desist message and requested verification via postal service for any debt they believe I owe. I own a small ranch and recently purchased a double wide to put on it for a guest house so I'm pretty sure any outstanding debts would have come up during that process less than 6 months ago.

I was searching online for a place to deliver flowers to my best friend for her birthday, same day delivery. I came upon Bloom Flower Delivery, which states the flowers are arranged by local florists and can be delivered same-day if ordered by 3pm. They also advertise a 100% Happiness Guarantee. I ordered the flowers on the morning of 8/31 and paid an additional fee of $5.99 for them to be delivered by 1pm on the same day. I spent just over $85. They were not delivered that day. I attempted emailing their customer service as well as calling their customer service to see where the order was and when it would be delivered. I was given the run-around by email support. I received a phone call from my doctor's office, and when I answered it was BLOOM FLOWER DELIVERY, NOT my doctor! They let me know the issue was being looked into and they would update me as soon as possible. I never received an update. When I called the customer service number from their website on 9/1, I was offered a refund of the $5.99 fee. When I told them I don't think that is a fair refund they offered $10, take it or leave it. I asked for a supervisor and was told none are available, but they would call the floral team and see what they could do. They then offered a $10.99 refund and a $10 coupon for my next order. I let them know I don't think that is fair, and demanded to know when the flowers would be delivered. They informed me their delivery times are between 9am-6pm. They offered to email me a delivery photo when it was completed, which I agreed to. It is now 3pm on 9/2. The flowers have not been delivered. When I called their AI agent said they have been delivered, and when I asked to be transferred to a live agent, I waited in the queue for 10 minutes and then was hung up on before I could speak to anyone. I attempted calling 2 more times and was hung up on before I was even transferred to the queue. I emailed again and was told someone would reach out soon. I let them know if I do not hear back and the flowers are not delivered, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card. I have disputed the charge and heard nothing back from Bloom Flower Delivery.

This is actually one of the best scams I’ve ever seen in my life. The platform looks extremely legitimate and until they asked for money for verification, I was convinced that it was legitimate and then I started emailing and asking questions and that’s when they kind of stopped answering. So I paid the $77 verification fee because their community chat board said that was normal but then they asked for another $140 for notarization fee and that’s where I stopped and did not give any more money. I then realized that the community chat room was basically just bots acting as other people that work there telling others that the payments were normal and that it was a legitimate platform.

I ordered an $80 dress (which was on sale from $140) that was advertised via photo and description. It came in and is nothing at all like what was advertised. It is worse quality than dresses I've bought on sites like Shein for $10. They falsely advertise based on the photos they post to make it look like the fabrics are real lace, satin, etc. What I received was an awful-looking printed lace pattern on the cheapest polyester material I've ever seen. The shape was completely different - it was a shapeless sack with no boning or structure at all. It's literally unwearable. I bought what I thought was a fancy dress for my Maid of Honor gown and received something that I wouldn't even wear as a bathing suit coverup. I'm going to return it, but from what I've read they're going to make it impossible to return and charge $30 in shipping. I will end up having to request a chargeback from my bank for fraud.

The scammer pretends to be the Ohio Valley Eye Institute offering a remote data entry job. They have you fill out a form to order equiptment that the business will pay for. In the confirmation email you are told that two items are out of stock until late next month (in my case, a macbook pro and an automated time tracker). The person you are communicating with (who has moved from email to microsoft teams) will apolgize and propose resolving the issue by issuing you a check to cash and having you purchase the unavailable items yourself. I told them I was uncomfortable doing so as I am aware of faulty check scams, and asked for an alternative. They said there was no other way and when I pushed back again saying that I am being cautious of scams, all of their messages were deleted and they blocked me and ceased all contact.

Made an appointment with a garage door repair/maintenance company over social media called Neighborhood Garage Doors, so Sam showed up, started looking at the garage set up and started saying many things needed replacement or repair without providing clear understanding on scope of work or price, I agreed to a mid tier 'Canadian' product, but he proceeded to install a heavy duty 'American' item without giving me heads up or consultation, said my garage needed 4 coils instead of 2 to reduce load on garage door opener motor, but even after installation, the noise level was the same. Told me I needed to replace hanging bar at $120, but later said it was to be $120 per feet which made the bar over $2000, with additional $850 in other charges that was previously not mentioned, along with $500 roller part replacement that he also did not mention. When confronted he quickly took those items away but insisted on payment for parts and labor already installed and instead of the 10 year warranty took that down to 1 year. Initially provided sticker shocker price of almost $8000 and we settled for $2000 as he would not leave and would make us late for our child's medical appointment and would not take credit card as payment and insisted on Zelle. He did not provide any quote before work and his invoice had company name and phone number of a different company and his Zelle account afterwards also showed a completely different company name, leading us to conclude this was a scam where he overcharges for services that may not be necessary. I contacted him again asking for a refund but he has not responded since.

Twice , I attempted to order merchandise from this seller. Shipping times are inconsistent with what is stated on their website, communication is inconsistent and unclear, and they never send tracking even when they say they will or did. With each purchase i eventually had to file a claim or dispute to get a refund. They mark it in their system as a canceled order. I wholeheartedly believe they only send out orders to fashion influencers.
