They asked for my personal info and picture of an ID. After she said they were gonna reach back for a background check that was gonna take a few days. After the call I went on indeed to check my application and the specific role since it was remote and realized there is no company or job position similar to it, i never applied for this job listing.Which then i did some research to realize it was a job scam to get people’s information and illegally send packages out linked to you.

I was told to email Emeric Winslow via [email protected] with my most updated resume, completed an interview via email, and was offered a position as an Instructional Designer as a remote job. They noted they would be sending me a check in the mail to cover the cost of purchasing equipment such as a MacBook, external monitor and hard drive, etc. I requested information regarding my benefits, supervisor contact, etc. and was told I would get that information after I purchased the equipment and set up my office. They then texted me as Lana Smith, the "onboarding manager" requesting the name of my banking institution so they could send me an electronic check to deposit in my bank's mobile app.

When I called they explained that my title company and/or lender required this warranty and they tried to set me up with this coverage for approximately $400. When I became skeptical the agent said he’d “close my account” and hung up on me. I called back to clarify what just happened, I got another agent who insulted me and vaguely threatened me by reading off my address to me as to suggest that he could come to my home. I asked for a corporate address and he said, they don’t have one. I will attach a picture of the letter.

This was the voicemail they left. “Senna’s prescription has been transferred to the new VIP pet care pharmacy to keep the next shipment on schedule. We just need you to confirm your information with our pharmacy customer care team as a special thank you for completing the process enjoy $25 off your first AutoShip order please call us at 877-481-0141 as soon as possible. Your next auto shipment cannot be sent until this step is completed again that's 877-481-0141 thank you for trusting us with center of care. We look forward to speaking with you soon.…” I called the number back with my husband and they claimed the company was recently bought by another branch and they no longer had our billing, home address, or card on file. I gave them our billing address and home address, but my husband felt this could be a scam so we refused giving out card info. The lady said without the card info Senna’s autoship order couldn’t be processed and she would have to cancel it. We told her to go ahead and cancel then because we didn’t understand how this information couldn’t be carried over under new ownership. She claimed she would cancel it and rushed us off the phone. After doing some research apparently this number is not the official VIP Petcare number, nor would the company need this information as it would carry over. We also realized the autoship order is through Chewy anyways and VIP Petcare just needs to give consent to Chewy before shipping. We believe that we were almost scammed. This was a super convincing scam that we unfortunately partially fell for by giving them our billing and home address. When we checked the status on our dogs flea medication, it states it should ship out tomorrow still. This was a very confusing and bizarre situation.

Each set cost $118.08 USD. The company's AI bot support acknowledged via email of receiving both sets of bible but shipping / receiving staff made an error in their computer data entry and as a result the second set can not be refunded until computer entry is corrected. The company's AI bot support indicated via email that there is no escalation process, and there is no supervisor available and that support staff have no way of determining how to correct the errors made by shipping/receiving personnel. The company's AI bot indicated there is no phone number available for Customer Support. I have emails and documents to prove everything I have stated here and after 3 months of delays and dozens of emails I have concluded that this company has no integrity and should be criminally charged for deceptive practices.

I purchased a Tee Popper with extra plastic balls, the purchase also came with extra free add ons like "Doughout club." I was subscribed to a monthly membership I never consented on, or whas it clarified through the purchase process, or email confirming purchase. I emailed them letting them know I never received an email for a subscription, Kynvale stated to have sent one stating on the subject: "Welcome to the Dugout Club." I emailed over and over that it was never sent to me, and I am requesting for refund for 2 charges of $40 for a subscription I never agreed to, or was clarified to. There was a cancelation link on their webpage, they make you input your email, the email is sent, then you have to open the link in your email again. So stupid!! which I happen to stop that Cancelation as well, and screenshot the confirmation. In that Cancelation of subscription, it had a tab I could not open that stated "Subscription Plan", and those usually can be changed. I couldn't open. They finally offered 20% refund, and I stopped emailing, and called my CC company to file fraudulent charges. Kynvale just so happen to refund both charges totalling $80. YOU NEED TO CLARIFY IN THE EMAIL THEY NEVER SENT YOU AN EMAIL STATING ANYTHING FOR A SUBSCRIPTION OR MEMBERSHIP! HAVE THAT RECORDED AND CAN SUBMIT TO CC COMPANY AS YOU ATTEMPTING TO ESTABLISH SOME COMMUNICATION WITH THEM TO FILE FOR FRAUD. Also screen shots of your original purchase, showing them that there's nothing stating subscription or membership. Hope this helps someone!

I purchased two dresses of two different sizes to see what fit. Immediately after the purchase, I had second thoughts that the dresses wouldn't arrive in time for a wedding. So I called the credit card company I charged them to, to cancel the transaction but they said they couldn't, yet, because they had to wait for the transaction post. So I contacted the store to try and cancel. They did not have a phone number but they had a way for me to send a message. So I sent the message asking them to cancel the order. They said the order already was processing and I couldn't cancel it. I had only just placed the order less than 20 minutes prior. Not knowing that their cancellation policy allowed 24 hours to cancel, at the time, I had no choice to wait for the dresses to arrive and hope they would arrive on time. I was given an ETA of August 1 to August 8 for a delivery time. The wedding the dress was for was on August 14. The dress arrived on August 11 but I had to leave on August 10 to travel to the location of the wedding. Of course, I had to buy another dress. I sent about 15 emails to the company with my concerns about arrival time. In the end, I learned about the cancellation policy, which I could have used but they ignored my situation and would not provide a return receipt which I requested since they did not honor their 24 hour cancellation policy. I did not do my homework regarding this company. Please do not order from them. They are a scam online store disquised as a brick and morter store in NY.

I purchased a jumpsuit for approximately $80 from an online store branded as "Brian and Kelly New York." The site used American branding — New York imagery, photos suggesting the owners were US-based — to appear as a domestic company. Upon delivery, the item's quality was extremely poor, comparable to a garment costing around $15, and did not match the product photos or description. When I requested a return, the company did not respond for approximately 9 days. When they finally replied, they stated return shipping would cost $25. After completing customs paperwork and attempting to actually ship the return, I was told the cost would instead be $65 — more than the item itself cost, and far more than the amount originally quoted. The return shipping address provided was a freight/logistics warehouse in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China — not a US location, despite the site's branding implying an American business. The mismatch between the marketed origin, the poor product quality, the slow response, and the escalating/inconsistent return costs strongly suggests this business is designed to discourage successful returns. Consumers should be aware this is likely a drop-shipping operation misrepresenting itself as a US-based brand, with return policies that make returning items impractical or cost-prohibitive.

Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes - Imposter Sweepstakes Phishing Scam

I got a call from unknown cell and just hung up immediately. The man called again right away, and again I hung up without saying Hello. Once again, the call came in with the same number. He asked why I hung up; he had wonderful news for me. He then told me I was a big winner in the Better Homes and Garden sweepstakes and that my name had been drawn in Times Square. He said that it was certainly NOT a scam and that I would be very happy when I got the huge check. He then said it sounded like I did not believe him and I replied that I did not, I get at least 30 scam marketing calls per day, and he was one of them. He finally hung up and did not call back.

They claimed they were with my Merchant Services Company that handles all of my Point of Sales transactions. They claimed I was being charged too much of a percentage rate per credit card sale. They claimed they needed a monthly statement emailed to them so they could adjust the rate and refund money for up to a year for overcharged credit card sales. She asked me to stay on the phone with her while I emailed her the statement and that she would be able to process the refund right away once she got the statement and some other information.
