I had an extremely frustrating experience with GuruGo. I purchased the program but decided not to use it and requested a refund. I was then told that I couldn’t receive a refund because I hadn’t used the program. When I questioned how that made any sense, customer service repeatedly copied and pasted the same explanation instead of actually addressing my question. According to GuruGo, to even be considered for a refund, customers must actively complete the program, communicate with coaches, document their progress, and submit screenshots. In other words, you’re expected to use the product you don’t want in order to request your money back. That completely defeats the purpose of a satisfaction guarantee in my opinion. What was most disappointing wasn’t just the refund denial—it was the lack of meaningful customer service. Every response ignored the actual question I was asking and simply repeated their policy without explaining the reasoning behind it. If you’re considering purchasing because of the advertised money-back guarantee, read the refund terms very carefully. The guarantee appears to require extensive participation before they’ll even review a refund request. I found the policy misleading and the support experience incredibly frustrating.

Worthless Problem-solving Service - US Passport and Visa

Received several emails from US Passport and Visa with my personal information attached that I had given to the government (SSN, Address, Phone, Emergency Contact). It looked legitimate because it had my information. It said that for 10% off of my passport fees, I could pay by credit card and it would give me a shipping label and insurance for lost passport services. I paid, but it gave me several error messages. I attempted three different credit cards before it finally gave me an error and then gave me a link to download my passport forms. The passport forms were ones I already had and then it said that I owed $160. I never received a receipt, despite requesting one from support. Support refused to honor a refund by phone and by email. They have all of my personal information and I requested that they delete my information. I have disputed the charge and canceled my credit card. I contacted them through phone and email support immediately when I did not receive a receipt and when seeing that I owed $160. I told them I wanted a full refund and they refused. I told them I was reporting as a scam to BBB.

You can also reach us by calling (463)-289-1613" I reported this to 7762, but now have received two more texts saying "Hi *******, Can I call you now to go over your $50,000 personal Loan? Or call us at (463)-289-1613. If you no longer need it, just let me know. I appreciate it," and immediately after, "Hi *******, CSFI USA here. Just checking in to see if you received my previous message. Is now a better time to give you a call?" I will be reporting this to 7762 again to see if my phone carrier can help deal with this as well. I don't know where they got my name and number from, but I have personally given them nothing, not contacted them, or done anything other than open the text to read it (i.e. I haven't followed any linked text either). So, I am safe so far, but hopefully this helps someone else.

I was called by someone claiming to be from the "New York State Department of Health and Wellness" (which doesn't exist), who already had my contact information. They asked if I had various types of unrelated pain, then claimed if I had back pain I could be entitled for a bunch of assorted benefits due to some "new program," and started going on about sending me a back brace that was guaranteed to reduce my pain by 80-90% (based on zero medical information), at which point I hung up because that is absolute nonsense. This happened July 1st, and every 2-3 days since then they have been calling me multiple times per day. I had to turn on my phone's spam filter and hope it doesn't filter out real calls. I can't report a phone number because of course every single one is different and they're all spoofed. They're obviously trying to get insurance information, and possibly bank account numbers to "verify" the account, and then stealing disability payments or performing other forms of fraud targeted at people who are already in pain. They could also just be confirming the information they have for further targeted scams.

I received a call from a "legal department" that wanted me to verify information about myself without saying who they were or what the call was in reference to, so I declined to verify my identity. Days later, they called my ex-husband looking for me about a court action. They asked him questions about me that he also would not answer. He let me know they called and I called them back. This time I said it was me but still would not verify my SSN or address. The man said his name was **** **** from Garden State Management and that he wanted to know why I stopped paying on a debt in the amount of $3241.62. I told him I didn't know what he was talking about. He said it was from 2007, that the debt went to collections 3 times, and he wanted to know why I stopped paying it or I was going to be garnished. Mind you, I have never had a bill that I did not pay in full, so I knew he was lying. I asked him why I never got a bill or anything in the mail over the past 20 years about this and told him they needed to communicate with me in writing, starting with a debt validation. Eventually, he hung up. "****" was very aggressive. Please don't fall for it!

Mark Kempesta had done HAVC work for us. Our HVAC was old and failing. I called him to overhaul the system. He wrote a proposal for a total of $13,875 and we signed a contract on April 15, 2026. He requested an advancd of $8500 to acquire parts and material for the work. At his request I gave him two separate checks totalling that amount. He cashed them both the same day and was to start the work by the end of May. As the date approached, I called him on his mobile 860.608.6665 repeatedly since he did not answer. His office 860.822.1971 was evasive and then ceased to answer my calls. The last time I heard from him was June 18,2026 when he left a voicemail saying he would cal, and he never did. On July 17, I did a last attempt to settle the matter and he did not repondo to calls, texts or email. I learned then MDK Mechanical had been forfeited in 2022, and that the license in the contract did not exist in the CT goverment sites.

When you FINALLY get them to send you the return form, the return is to be sent to the UK, incurring expensive shipping costs. THEN, after all is said and done, they DECLINE to refund you as their back and forth has caused you to miss the “30 day return window.” This is a scam that must be taken down!!! The City of Virginia Beach Commissioner of the Revenue Office verified: This business cannot be located in our City of Virginia Beach business license system. "Sue's Virginia Beach" (sometimes known through social media as Cilla Sue's Boutique or Asa Bella's Boutique), is an outright fake scam site.
