I received a text message that someone was trying to make a purchase from the apple store online for $499. I immediately became alarmed and dialed the number indicated in the text message. I called the number and a foreign guy answered. He asked what was my problem, I told him and he proceeded to help by asking me to download an app and give him access to my phone keypad. He asked me to check my bank account to see if anything had been taken out which gave him access to my bank account so he was able to see what I had in it. He then asked me to check my cash app which he was allowed to access my profile information and low and behold a cash app request came through for $499 which he wanted me to approve. He also wanted me to purchase Bitcoin for $50. After a while I became suspicious and proceeded to uninstall apps I had installed and restrict permissions I had approved. Luckily I hung up before I started sending anything.
