I received an email from [email protected] on 5/31/25 that my trademark application is now live and is ready to be verified, attested & endorsed so the authorities can reserve the trademarks with all Secretary of State(s) in the US in order to mark your business as a certified business under federal protection in the USA. I had an appointment to verify with an attorney below are the details: Examining Attorney: Jennifer Williston Phone: (214) 814-4719 ext. 800 Appointment Time: 12:45 PM (PST) Appointment Number: **** Date: 2nd June 2025 I called and the woman was impersonating to be this attorney, Jennifer. She asked me to submit photos of my products with my trademark logo and that I needed to add trademark classification 035 for advertisement,marketing of my products and had to pay an additional fee of $549. I sent photos and they sent a link to my business email to make the payment. The merchant was Synexis Innovation Corporation. She sent an invoice back from the email [email protected]. And stated that it will take her a few days to review application and will provide an update. I called the customer service office on USPTO office on 6/3/2025 to ask about this process and they informed me that it was a scam. They will never contact us to schedule an appointment and that they have all of my information and will never ask for a payment through email, etc. the attorney that they were impersonating contact information is public. I called my back immediately to report the charge and forwarded the spam emails to the trademark scams email, [email protected].
