On May 24,2025 at 7 am I went online to my bank Sofi I was aware that I was $7.28 cents overdrawn. But now I was 47 dollars and change over drawn. I looked and there was a charge of 39.95. It was authorized on May 23,2025. Amazon and Walmart were the only 2 companies I buy from. It said PVER.3 US 8886056664 so I called the number and it went to voicemail stating they were not open please leave a message ect. No company name or anything that would identify them. My bank Sofi isn't open on Sat or sun so I couldn't call them. I froze my debit card and waited for the charge to be posted so I could file a complaint with my bank. This happened approximately 6 months ago but not the same over.3 us. I had 3 or 4 different replacement debit cards until my bank finally blocked them. And now its happening again. Last time my bank put the 39.95 back into my account but by the 3rd or 4th replacement debit card decided it was my fault so I ended up eating 39.95. According to them and their team of investigators I was at fault. I actually investigated on my own and found a phone number and website that was some kind of debit and credit card processing business. I sincerely regret not reporting it. Now its happening again like I said. I decided this time to file a complaint because I can't afford to eat 39.95 again and I can't call my bank until Tuesday because of memorial day. Also on Fri I cashed out of a survey site I use to make a little extra money to cover the $7 and change I was over drawn I must have done it too late in the day for it to post on my account Fri afternoon. But it will on Tuesday. I live on social security and 39.95 is a lot of money to me. Thanks for having some place to report this because apparently I'm not the only one its happened to when I checked online.
