Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I was recruited online for a remote appointment setter job by a company called Appointment Setting Co. They promised job placement after training and pressured me to pay $6,000, claiming it was just a temporary hold. In reality, they charged two of my credit cards, each for $6,000 — totaling $12,000. I was told this was a legitimate job opportunity, but after paying, I received minimal service and no real job placement. I was pressured to sign a “dispute waiver” that blocked me from challenging the charges. The contract I signed was with Timeless Capital LLC, but I later discovered the business is legally registered as Valyou Media LLC in Florida, which has numerous complaints and an F rating from the BBB. This company appears to be using multiple names to mislead job seekers and collect large upfront fees for services that are never truly delivered.
