Description

I've been receiving calls from Iqor since 05/05/2025; a friend has been answering calls for me, as I've been away from my phone quite a bit. My friend stated that Iqor was consistently reluctant to leave a message and refused to provide a contact number. Today (05/12/2025) my friend saw the number on my caller ID, answered and the caller immediately hung up. My friend contacted the number back, took down a message. I called the number back, as my friend stated it was an employer reaching out for an interview. Upon calling the number from my caller ID, the "employer" requested personal contact information, citing an incorrect E-Mail address on file. I made the "employer" aware that all of my correct contact information was provided on the resume submitted through Indeed.com (where I've been applying for most jobs). The "employer" claimed not to have access to my resume, then claimed not to have access to the information provided via Indeed. I questioned how the "employer" was able to locate my name and contact number, they claimed it was via FaceBook. While I have a FaceBook account using my legal name, my contact number is private and the E-Mail cited by the "employer" was not correct. I requested a supervisor which the representative was reluctant to provide. The "supervisor" claimed that I had applied directly on the Iqor website 05/02/2025 and the contact information was listed on my application; they also cited an incorrect E-Mail address. Upon making the "supervisor" aware of what the representative had stated, the "supervisor" changed their story and claimed that my contact information was found via FaceBook. I made them aware that I would not participate in their phishing scam, requested to no be contacted again and have reported this organization to the FTC. I have checked my correct E-Mail address, no communication from Iqor regarding an application and I have checked Indeed.com...I found that no resume was submitted to this organization from the third party site. This organization appears to be using false information in an attempt to phish for correct personal information.
