I believe I have been the victim of a scam disguised as a remote job opportunity. I was hired for a position titled “Remote Freight Checker” by a company that claimed to inspect and forward packages. Since starting, I have received multiple packages at my home and was instructed to either inspect, repackage, or forward them to other addresses. In some cases, I was told to pick up items from local stores and reship them. At first, I believed this was a legitimate job, but I have not received payment, and the nature of the activity now raises serious concerns. I have since learned this matches the description of a reshipping scam, and I fear I may have unknowingly participated in a fraudulent scheme. I am no longer handling any packages and want to fully report this in order to protect myself and assist in any investigation.
