Description

Friday, May 2, 2025 I received a two missed call at 7:05 & 7:07 and two voicemails were left. I listened to the audio and it was a lady named Julie London supposedly from HR, calling about interest in a Distribution Inspector position. I wasn't sure if it was a matter of a wrong number because she never said my name specifically. I called the number back but got a voicemail. Monday, May 5, 2025 she calls again and ask for me by name. I've been actively looking for employment on Indeed, so at this point I'm thinking this is a job I applied for. Still, I am trying to do my best to remember applying to a job post for a Distribution Inspector or anything concerning a company named IronCanyon. Julie asks me 4 to 5 questions and tell me all I would need is clear tape and a printer. She also stated I would be receiving packages to my address, inspecting them, and dropping them off at UPS or USPS. Julie said it pays 5,000 after the 1st month and afterwards half of 5,000 bi-weekly. She then emails me a link for the employment contract where I entered my first/last name, home address, email address, uploaded photos of the front/back of my valid government-issued ID, and a selfie holding my valid government-issued ID to conduct a background check. I was told to be on the look out for another email from my personal manager for training and to access my admin panel. I received an email earlier today Tuesday, May 6, 2025 welcoming me to the company. I thought to myself it's sort of strange how there hasn't been a conversation or email officially informing me that my background check had cleared. I spoke to my husband as well afterwards and he told me to check BBB. I entered the company name... nothing... I went to Google and for them to have on their website that they've been in business for decades, Google has nothing! It's really sad that people do this. It's even more sad that I seen someone write the same thing about this "IronCanyon Freight" on here in the past two days. People are sick and disgusting. As Im doing all of this I called the number I have for Julie London and of course "company voicemail" again. I didn't leave a voicemail but guess who returns the phone call still? If you guessed Ms. London then you are correct! I didn't answer because now my eyes are wide open and I'm not for the games. Another weird thing is right after the phone call and another voicemail left by her, she sends me the same employment contract email from yesterday but I'm not opening it. I really would have took this job seriously and benefited from it if it was real. I just pray nothing else comes from this.
