I came across an ad for memory writing services to write your families, history and stories to leave for your loved ones. I received emails with 50 questions to fill out for the book to be completed including photos as soon as I submitted the book I got an email saying my subscription was canceled. They never was I had simply purchased the memory book and was going to order multiple copies. Once I investigate it and found out that the Memowrite company had no phone number and address in San Francisco that doesn’t appear to be a valid address and then found other complaints on BBB I added this complaint and now I’m faced with trying to recover Nearly $255 from PAYPAL which I have a little to no chance of getting. I am a senior raising a small child and was doing the book on her behalf and can’t afford to take such losses. I only did it to allow her the memories of her family’s history, as I have already had two strokes that left me legally blind, and mobility impaired. It’s disgusting how these fraudsters play on hard-working disabled seniors and face very little if any legal repercussions. No, it’s not sad, it’s disgusting.
