Description
I purchased 4 international airline tickets for my immediate family (wife and 3 children) - the advertised price that was on the website was standard for the last 4 days and after I completed my reservation purchase online, I got a confirmation email after verification of my credit card for the amount of the tickets - I receive a phone call from the agency after 30 minutes stating that there was an error in the fare and the airline is not honoring the fare and I would need to pay an additional amount of $84 over and above the service fee of $200 which is refundable. After questioning them of the advertised price on their website the agent kept saying that it was an error and they will correct it to which I said, why only after my reservation went through did the airline or your agency find an error with the price or are you trying to deceive customers- the agent kept apologizing and wanted me to authorize the additional payment to process the tickets - I told them to cancel the booking and to send me an email confirmation acknowledging the cancellation - I have not yet received an email and I will inform the credit card company not to process the charges
