Was purchasing an item from Instagram. Was listed for $250 with shipping andusing Paypal as friends and family. (First sign of a scam) afterward, he said it would be sent with a carrier that I have never heard of before called dynamic express and sent me a tracking number, then received a text message from the carrier saying that my item was on hold and I needed to pay an additional $200 for insurance and stamps. I said I was not gonna pay for shipping as it was included in my purchase and they said I needed to pay the insurance and that it was inevitable. After going back-and-forth telling them, I just want the item to be given back to the seller and we could close the shipment. He says I I’m really making it a hassle for him which is another sign of a scammer, getting annoyed with not making money and wasting time. The seller on Instagram went round and round, not trying to give me my money back and also saying if I just paid the insurance it would be sent and then I could pay it through him. In the end, I got his account on Instagram closed most likely will not see the money, but hopefully the website will also get taken down.
