I use Travelocity to search for flights and it gave me the best deal with fareporto.com They were significantly less than every other websites price and offered a time and date that works for me so I paid for the service with my card and got confirmation in the email saying the date and time and confirmation number. So I went to the airlines to verify the confirmation number and said it was not valid. So several hours later, I tried again and it was still not valid so I called the website. +1-833-442-2661 They referred me to the agent who made the flight which took two calls or something. They hung me up. Then once I got a hold of them, they told me that they haven’t actually confirmed the tickets and that I may need to be flexible and I said I made an agreement with you guys for the date and time and they said no you signed the small prints. I didn’t sign anything. They said they would know in 24 to 48 hours what my tickets would be. They called 30 minutes later and I got an email saying they’re trying to get a hold of me so I called them back and they said that my fair was gonna be over $600 because The one that I booked was not available anymore. I told him that that’s not acceptable. I’m not gonna pay any more than what we agreed upon and they said oh you agreed in the fine print and I was like no I didn’t. I agreed to certain time and date and a price and that’s it and you gave me confirmation. I was like if you can give me another flight in the same timeframe for the same price that’s fine but I’m not paying anymore and they said we can look for other flights for some sort of extra cost. I forget what the terms they used and I told him no so I checked my credit card that I thought I used and I don’t see a charge, but they told me these scans happen often And that I should lock my card so I did . And now I have looked up the website and found out. I have found a lot of complaints about this company being fraudulent. It would be good if you could shut this website down and get a hold of Travelocity to make sure they don’t take advantage of other customers.
