I was contacted via text from Robert Half (I'm registered via LinkedIn for Job Searching with Robert Half) asking if I was interested in PT work, I said yes. I was told I would be called and to be sure to answer. Then I was connected via WhatsApp. Training was on WhatsApp including screenshots of my activity, logging in, completing the tasks to then learn the steps to withdraw commission earned. Too good to be true. I had to deposit $100 to do the "work." I should have known better. I did the work, but then to withdraw, I had to add more of my own money to clear the "negative wallet balance." I told my "Coach" that I didn't have that kind of money. I stupidly took a loan out of my retirement. My coach charmed me, sending me pictures of her and her little girl in Florida, etc. She ultimately ghosted me. I contacted "customer service" who supplied me with the bitcoin and/or ethereum wallet numbers to deposit money to. I asked for help because my coach was not responding for three days. The customer service person was awful, told me "this is your coach's private life. I don't need to explain it to you and we have no right to interfere. Your coach is a user like you, not a staff member of the platform. You can patiently wait for her to reply to you." I knew then with the rudeness that I had been had.
