Comcast offered me a free IPad and lower cable rates. The offer was a scam. The IPhone was close to $500 and I ended up stuck with a mobile phone line. However, this is just the beginning. When one tries to cancel the mobile line one is giver the run around. It is virtually impossible to cancel it. When I asked for a supervisor, my internet was suddenly interrupted and I was never able to reconnect.. One can find several other people complaining about this scam on line. For example: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/billing/free-ipad-and-promotion-scam-from-xfinity-agent/67a045a5132517737543873d. The word scam is used by several people.
