Description

Booked two trips through Expedia to Orlando, FL 1-31-25 to 2-3-25, and another to Dallas 7-11-25 to 7-13-25. My return flight from Orlando, FL on 2-3-25 was rescheduled from 11:59 am and changed to 7:03 pm. I was advised by Expedia's agent to cancel the booking through Breeze and rebook with another airline, which was JetBlue via Expedia. All these trips were booked using my Citibank Affirm account, which is a loan for the bookings to travel. When I realized I hadn't received a refund from Breeze, I tried contacting them and looked up the number online. The number I found was on the website listed in my report (flyforair.com). This is a quote from this website "How do I speak to someone at Breeze? Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that connects underserved destinations, known for its customer care service and round-the-clock availability. Breeze Airways offers a toll-free OTA: +1-800-880-8132 to speak directly with its customer care representative." When I called, the agent identified himself as a Breeze agent and I gave him the information he requested. I didn't realize he wasn't from Breeze until I got an email alert from JetBlue indicating that my booking was canceled. I went onto Expedia and saw that both trips were canceled. When I spoke to the Expedia agent, he said he couldn't help me, but did tell me when the bookings were canceled. All those times were when I was at work and had no access to the internet. I found a "chat" on my Expedia account indicating a conversation with someone claiming to be me and canceling my bookings. When I called back the 800 number for what I first thought was Breeze Airlines, the agent tried to get more information from me. When I asked what company he represented, he said he was from a travel agency and could help me rebook my trip. He also kept assuring me that I'd get my money back for the bookings, but when I checked with JetBlue, my credits couldn't be accessed. I am still working on that and trying to rebook the other aspects of my trips. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to get my funds returned. Thank you! **** ********
