QR-code-generator.com is running a scam for its main business model. This website allows you to create "free" QR codes if you sign up for an account. This automatically enrolls you into a free trial for their premium service. What they don't tell you is that ANY codes that you create will stop working after the premium trial ends. This includes even the most basic codes that have no special features, which you thought were free. By that time, you will probably have already published and printed your code somewhere. This leaves you with no choice but to sign up for a paid subscription, or all of your codes won't work. It’s a scam, plain and simple. They are not honest upfront about how it works. For example, a business owner created thousands of business cards with QR codes, and already gave them out to lots of customers, so the business owner had to sign up for an expensive monthly subscription to keep those QR codes working.
