I signed up to complete surveys for Era of Travel for $, all of my training was thru WhatsApp I was trained by a mentor we used her account to do the training then I used my own account as you complete surveys you get commission however from time to time I honestly don’t now how it works you get in a negative balance or a “deal” as they call it in order to get out of the negative balance and continue the journey - there are 35 journeys/ratings to do a day I was then advised I needed to add funds(recharge my account) via crypto I used the Newton app to continue. On my 1st day I paid $33 finished my 35 journeys and made $220 less the $33=$87. Totally OK! Day 2 I do the training again on the trainers account took me hours then I proceed to do my 35 daily journeys about 10-15 journeys in I get a negative balance or $240 CAD which is also a “deal” and apparently higher commission so I go to my trainer and flip I was under the understanding I’d make $200 a day - great so I why does it got from $33 out of pocket to $240 - my trainer tells me if I pay the $240 I’ll make $1100-$1000 that day! I was so so so so SO skeptic and asked her REPEATEDLY to ensure me I’d not have to pay anymore out of pocket cause as I made her VERY aware I could not afford anymore then the $240…Mentor promises me no more negatives and as I’m new I won’t get anymore “deals” I screenshotted EVERYTHING so I pay the $240 CAD via crypto to “recharge” my account to proceed with my 35 journeys. I do like 8-9 more and I get another “deal” negative balance this time for $510 CAD, again I message my mentor lose my **** as she promised this would not happen she then tells me it’s system generated, all I have to do is pay the $510 recharge my account, proceed with the journey and I’ll get the $240 & $510 back once completed. I don’t have $510!!! I tell her this repeatedly she’s like borrow it from someone - ahhh NO! I ask for my $240 back and she keeps to script once my journeys are complete I’ll get $240 & $510 back, we banter on forever thru what’s app, I post my concern in a group chat & their support team all via WhatsApp they all stick to script once i complete my journey recharge/pay $510 to continue I’ll get my $240 & $510 back but it’s also VERY possible I’ll be given another “deal” another negative recharge which will be MORE $ which I do not have I’ve been talking to these horrible people for 2 days, today I read in their rules if I can’t complete my journey pay the $510 recharge within 7 days to contact them which I do to ask what they will do and they are crickets, contact us in 7 days! I am CLEARLY SO upset! What a scam, *** ** ***** *** ********* **** *** *** ********* *********** ****** ** **** * *** *** ********** But now I’m out $240 towards my rent ?? and don’t know what to do…I’m working with my bank also and thinking of contacting the police. *** **** *** *** ******* ***** ******* ** ***********…Also I have all records and screenshots of all interactions with them! It’s not right what they are doing! Thank-you
