I was offered a position to post about the mattress company by making a social media page on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and etc. I have applying for a new job on different websites, so I thought this was legit. I thought by looking u the company information on BBB, that it was okay to pursue the position. Riley said I would be working by myself responding to reviews by customers, and 3D designer. She wasn't pushy in the beginning until I said I received the check. Then, she asked about the funds being available. All of sudden, I needed to send cash money to the accountant at an address she provided. My bank clear that check as good, and now want me to pay back some of the funds. Of course, I'm very upset with my bank because I had them to check it out to make sure the check was legit. Now this leaves me in a really bad place financial and emotional. After, I told the scammer to stop contacting me. She still was harassing me about sending, whoever the other person $ 1459.84 cash money in a envelope. That's what raised the red flag for me, because this third party was never mentioned before and cash money.
