Propertyrecs.com has a website set up to mimic an official state service. When you pay $1 to receive a property report, they automatically sign you up for a monthly subscription without your approval. The have no identity data, no address, no names. They did cancel my subscription after i caught it. They did not respond to request for their identity or business license to operate in SC. ** update - I just checked their website and they have completely revamped it to remove the misleading state seal, and they have added identifying information and other details after I threatened a complaint to BBB!
