Company sells human hair extensions. I purchased an item from this company in December 2023 and cancelled my membership as soon as I received the item. They continued to charge me. I had to send a strongly worded email to have them cancel it. On 05/22/2024, I decided to give them another chance, but after I had the item in their cart, I logged out without making the purchase. I checked my credit union account the next day and there was a pending charge for $71.91. I reached out to a Tina via their chat feature. She blamed it on PayPal (they had nothing to do with it. The charge didn't show up in my account with them whatsoever) then she insisted I contact PayPal directly. Since I knew it wasn't their issue, I balked. Tina continued to repeat that the charge would fall away within 24 to 48 hours. Since I knew pending charges will hit my financial institution the next day, I requested an immediate resolution. Once again, Tina insisted I reach out to PayPal or my bank to solve the issue and continued to claim they had done nothing wrong! Then, she ignored me for HOURS on their chat window. I called Paypal and the only charge they found was a recurring membership that started on 5/22/2024. I NEVER signed up for a membership, especially since I already had a bad experience with trying to cancel their membership once last year. After reading reviews on Trustpilot, I realized that I was not the only victim of this fraud attempt. The reviewers confirmed that even when they didn't purchase anything and left the item in the cart, they got hit with a monthly membership fee they had not signed up for. This company needs to be stopped! From their disastrous CS, to their practices of signing potential customers up for a membership without their consent, they're online fraudsters. Who knows how many people they have successfully scammed that haven't taken any action, have not reported them, or have taken it on the chin!
