I was contacted by someone impersonating an official from Loyal Health offering me an interview. It was a fully text chat conversation through Microsoft Teams. A day after the interview I got a call from “HR” offering me the position. After that they put me in a “team” and I started working for two days. In that time they told me to get a business phone and they would reimburse me in my first paycheck. Once I got the phone, they told me I had to send it to a Texas address to get a chip installed by their IT team. That’s when I realized it was a scam. I ended up giving them my SSN and bank information because of a direct deposit form they had me fill out in the beginning.
