Called to tell me a fraudulent charge was noticed on my credit card, and to ask if I made the charge. I said no. She said ok, let’s block that card and send you a new one. Said my phone number and I said yes, then sent me a text with a confirmation code to read back, which I did, then read my email address and asked me to confirm, which I did. They did not ask for any account numbers or my social, nor did they ask for payment of any kind… but they did have the last 4 digits of my credit card, my phone number, email and name. I feel stupid.
