Scammer posted on social media site Face Book through a friend account that I now have learned was compromised. The posted were about a crypto currency platform. I contacted the imposer via Face Book messenger. I set up an account on the fraudulent platform. I moved funds to a valid cryptocurrency exchange platform. I converted funds to Bitcoin. I sent Bitcoin to the fraudulent platform. When the first withdrawal was to be made the imposter stated the commission for the transactions would need to be made up front and in Bitcoin. At that point, and unfortunately, I started the research that should had been in the forefront of the transactions, which included speaking on the telephone to the real life person who informed me their social media accounts had been compromised.
