On Friday evening, December 1, 2023, I clicked on a Facebook link to what looked like an ad for a "human dog bed" at Macy's. I ordered the dog bed (a total of 48.96 including shipping). Then, I realized that the human dog bed was too big for my child's room, so I tried to cancel the order via email. This morning, December 2, 2023, I called Macy's customer service twice to try to cancel the order. Two customer service agents and then a supervisor told me that they had no record of the transaction or of the item. Later that day, my child googled "Human dog bed Facebook scam," and I realized what had happened.
