Made a purchase for a drone for $879.55 with a Cash App Visa card. Realized right away there was an issue as the charge notification came as ThankU and no other identifying information. I placed the order on my Phone so I took a screenshot of the confirmation page and checked my email for the confirmation of the order. No email. Tried calling the number on the website to cancel the order and it was disconnected. Tried sending an e-mail, it came back undeliverable. Contacted the bank and they informed me I had to wait until the charge settled and file a dispute. Which I did 2 days later when I was able. I contacted the processing company to see where the money went and it came up as a non profit organization out of Connecticut. I contacted that organization who knew nothing about this website or why their organization would be listed as have been the ones to take my money. I’ve tried getting information from Cash App as to the status of my claim and all I get are automated AI responses and emails sayin they have 45 days to resolve. I’ve been in contact again with the processing company (Stripe) and they’ve informed me that now when they look up my transaction it shows the merchant no longer active. The website does have a “track your status” function that just shows the order, date of transaction and says processing. It’s been “processing” for 3 weeks. The address listed is an apartment. All other functions of their website do not work such as sign up for deals, being able to leave a review etc… nor does their alleged chat function.
