I applied for a job posting on Indeed and was immediately contacted by someone by the name of "Deepa" who stated she was from a staffing agency. She asked that I send her my HS transcript, COVID vaccine, and flu vaccine then stated she would upload this to a "profile" and contact me in 2 days for an interview. When I followed up after 4 days she stated that once she got an update for the interview she would contact me. To which I began feeling suspicious. I attempted to call and she did not answer. After calling repeatedly she finally answered to which I requested to speak to a supervisor who identified himself by "Jones Cyril" who sounded of Indian decent. He stated that the "job listing" was closed and that they would reach out further for details. I attempted to contact the primary office number to which no one answers.
