This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
They called acting like they were a bail bonding company. I received pictures of the person I was trying to help get out of jail. I had already sent the money before I got to the jail and the police office told me that was not one of their bail bonds companies. They then called several people my friend knew trying to scam them as well.
