My wife has been contacted multiple times over the past 2 months (often multiple times daily) by an individual named "peter" claiming she won $3.5m and a house. She was told to buy various money cards at Walgreens, etc.,and send them the card #s to pay "taxes and delivery fees" and "earnest money". He tried to have her meet him multiple times to "sign papers". He has worked her for personal information, and 2 days ago someone tried to use her debit card number at Walmart to make $3000+ worth of purchases. Fortunately this was declined, and we were contacted by bank. He has what sounds like a foreign accent and horrible English and grammar in his texts. My wife is bipolar, and it has been hard at times to convince her that this a scam.
