Description
Repeatedly called almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day from mid March to early may. Called my dad & brother. Eventually left a VM on 03/24/2023, from a Delaware number stating I needed to return their call about “a file in their office that is pending legal action” and gave a case number. Didn’t say what office or anything. I called the number they provided and when I spoke with them they claimed they were a collection agency (SCS Group) trying to collect on an American eagle credit card from 2011. They tried to mediate to get me to pay a lower amount and threatened to garnish my wages and seize my property if I didn’t pay. I told them I would not discuss it any further until I had documents to confirm the legitimacy of their claim. I spoke to Jasmine (971-277-6254), and Tiffany, the mediator (951-269-4005). The vm left by Tiffany was from a Delaware number. (302-289-8290). They had my street address, but not the house number, and my SS#.
