Description

I did a search for TSA PreCheck to register for the government program. The Google search resolved to a site that is branded Apply Travel Programs with the government's TSA PreCheck trademarked language on the site's pages. I clicked on the Apply Today for TSA PreCheck. This led me to a application page. I filled out the required fields on the application. It does have an acknowledgement section on the Application page that the program charges $149.95 for the application process and, in addition, the TSA will charge $85 for a new application. At no point, is there any mention that this service is provided for FREE by the US government yet they use verbiage that is trademarked by the government for the TSA PreCheck program. As such, I thought this was an official entity that the US government has approved to facilitate applying to the TSA PreCheck program.
