Below is text message received. If receive something similar from a valid bank asking you to call if you didn't request code # or have any questions. Be careful it is a scam. The phone prompts and message before get someone live sounds identical to the automated systems when you call the number on back of your credit card. The live person sounds professional and they will ask you for you name, credit card #, or bank info to verify and look up your account to check into what's going on. If get similar text message from a bank that you don't bank with or don't have credit card ignore it is a scam. If the message appears to be from your bank or your credit card company and they have a phone number to tell you to call ignore it's a "SCAM". Always call the number on back of your credit card or our bank directly if any concerns with account. Here is text message received. "US Bank Alert: xxxxxx is your code. If you didn't make this request or have questions call 866-253-1752."
