Description

We found a shipping container conversion home for sale on social media, and they gave us a website to communicate, set up an on-site appointment, and purchase. They pushed us to make a purchase without a visit to take advantage of a clearance sale on the unit we wanted. When we looked up the address, it seemed legit, but we were concerned about the sense of urgency and being told that we couldn't visit because they were prioritizing delivery for clearance items. We ended up looking up the business on Google maps at the address provided on there showed a shipping container business, but it had another number. We called that number, and they aren't in any way associated with the company we were about to purchase from. The people who own the business at the address listed on the website had no clue that another "company" was using their address. This business is a scam. I've attached the email estimate they sent us. We didn't open it because we didn't want to be hacked.
