The other day, I received a phone call from an individual who informed me that I had 2 outstanding delinquent bills. They wouldn't tell me what these bills were for, but they said that the amount was for $1,500. I was then told to go to my local Target and buy $1,500 worth of gift cards, and then go to my bank and take more money out of my account. The call was from the phone number (619)-704-8432. I knew that this was a scam and told them that I wouldn't do it and hung up. I then received another call later on from the same number, and I was told that there was a warrant out for my arrest unless I paid this outstanding bill. That was when I hung up the phone. I checked with the police station anyways just to make sure that this was fraudulent.
