In June 2024, I entered into a Mentorship Contract with Tactical Traders LLC (managed by Justin Werlein) for a "Trading Mentorship" program. I paid $4,200 based on the merchant’s explicit contractual claim that "Justin is a highly regarded and successful trader with over 700k in profits." I am filing this complaint now—past the standard 12-month window—because the fraudulent nature of the business was intentionally concealed until a recent public admission by the merchant. The merchant has now publicly admitted that his persona as a "successful trader" was a fabrication and that he is a "fraud." This admission renders the contract void under the principle of "Fraud in the Inducement." The merchant sold an information product based on fake credentials and a falsified track record. Furthermore, the contract’s refund policy—which requires three months of journaled losses using the merchant's "strategy"—is unconscionable and predatory, as the merchant has admitted the strategy itself was not based on legitimate trading success. Desired Resolution: I am seeking a full refund of $4,200. While the merchant attempted to limit their liability to "zero" in the contract, a merchant cannot contractually exempt themselves from the consequences of intentional fraud. I request that Tactical Traders LLC return the funds obtained through these deceptive and admitted fraudulent practices. You can all see the video that he uploaded with his admission but then shortly deleted afterwards. However we were able to download the video before he deleted it.
