Description
The caller identified himself with a heavy accent, as from Chase bank, to verify an checking account that I created. He said there were two zelle transactions posting against the account, he gave me case number and cvc numbers to reference for the case. I gave him no information, he tried to keep me on the phone, but I hung up. He called back but I did not answer. I called the 212-479-5212 and the auto attendant that answered, was NOT FROM CHASE BANK, this is an old number at chase no longer used. I googled it and it comes back to a Chase Bank in NYC. This is a SCAM, hang up.
