I am filing a complaint against Amuse.io regarding an unfair account termination and refusal to issue a refund for a recently purchased membership. My account was terminated for “copyright infringement” while a remix submission was still under review and before it was ever published or distributed. The track in question was a remix of an existing song. At no point prior to submission, nor during the review process, was I clearly informed that proof of ownership or licensing was required before acceptance, nor was I given an opportunity to correct, withdraw, or provide documentation. Instead, Amuse.io immediately terminated my account during the review phase without warning, explanation, or escalation steps. This action permanently revoked my access to the service. I had purchased a paid membership only two days prior to the termination. After being informed that my account would not be reinstated, I requested a refund for the unused membership time. Amuse.io refused, despite the fact that: • No music was published or distributed • The alleged violation occurred during review, not after release • The service I paid for was effectively removed by their own action I believe this constitutes an unfair business practice: charging for a service, terminating access without proper notice or remediation, and refusing a refund for a membership that could no longer be used. I am requesting a refund for the unused portion of my paid membership and clarification of Amuse.io’s policies regarding remix submissions and copyright requirements during review. I am not the only person however as many other people have been complaining of the same exact situation of being scammed of money.
