Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

I had lost an item after arrival to Mpls Intl airport Terminal 2. I contacted the website via Google search. I called the number for lost items listed on this search. The info given on the recording led me to the recovery services. This number is California based to contact the company. I have attempted calls and have left messages for follow up and review. No return calls. All other communication was through email only or on line chat. All responses were pre generated and generic. Lead me to believe through false hope that there was an actual investigation ongoing to find my lost item which now have to assume stolen, and since it's been more than 40 days since I had left/forgot the item in the men's bathroom after landing in Mpls MN.
