I was contacted for a work from home data analyst position by 1st Avenue Transportation via the email [email protected]. I did an interview via chat in Microsoft Teams and was hired and asked for my personal information (driver's license, social security number, address, date of birth, phone number, email), which I provided. The "training" was also through Microsoft Teams and was conducted by a "Geoffrey Norman" which turned out to be an AI chat bot. At this point I continued communicating to ensure I was not talking to a person. Once I confirmed, I had to freeze all my credit accounts and protect my data.
