Description
I have used Cardpointe for merchant services for the past 4 years. I was contacted by phone, and the person said i was being overcharged. In order to receive my refund they would have to send me a new card reader. The card reader came and i was then contacted by phone to set it up. Once i realized the device was not synching with my software i asked them who they were and how they got my information. I told him to deactivate whatever account had been created. I then called the number that had initially contacted me, which i found out was Payment Advisory Solutions. I asked how they had gotten my information. They explained that they are a third party that sells plans to Cardpointe. I told them that i wanted the account deactivated. I explained that they misled me to believe they were Cardpointe by telling me i was owed a refund. I was told they would deactivate the account and that they would be sending me a shipping label so that i could return their device. All of this took place on 01-09-2025. I have received no shipping label. When i call back they say someone will return my call. Any help in this matter would be appreciated. I have contacted my bank, Cardpointe, and my software provider (Daysmart Pet) to make them aware.
