I saw a publicity online via a game that offered me the possibility of writing my memoirs with a very interesting rebate. The conditions were a 3 month subscription to write and add photos then they would edit it all into a hardcover book and ship it for free. I included a picture of their publicity to show you that nowhere is it specified that additional billing will occur. The also specify that I will be advised ahead of time should any additional fees occur. I lacked time post op to complete the writing and noticed that after the initial 3 months, they billed me 183$ via PayPal. I realized and accepted that it was my fault that I hadn’t completed within the three month period and just accepted that ai had lost the initial subscription. That is not my complaint. I wrote them and they said that I hadn’t cancelled my subscription myself therefore could not be reimbursed. It is specified nowhere that it is an ongoing subscription and I couldn’t find where to cancel myself. PayPal blocked them as soon as I spoke with them and filled out a complaint but PayPal said that the payment was on still on hold and had to pass for them to act. They said not to worry that they would handle it all and reimburse me themselves should Memowrite refuse. Memowrite refused but I have not been reimbursed yet. All this happened December 30th! Why is there no action taken against this company that uses 3 different names including UAP Kilo Grupé and innodiet.
