I contacted Uptown Maltipoo Puppies about a puppy named Bella 12/3/25. I was advised she was available at a reduced price of $600. Uptown Maltipoo Puppies was currently offering a sale of $600 for Bella. I requested updated pictures of Bella which were provided. After checking BBB and not finding any complaints I proceeded with purchase. Requested Zelle payment but I ultimately paid via Apple Pay to Nevaeh Segers (Accountant) 803-605-8959 and texted proof of payment via text to (803) 605-8959. I then received an email providing travel/shipping itinerary for Bella. Bella was being shipped via Pet Nannies and would be delivered to the Memphis International Airport to my daughter. The payment required from the Pet Nanny was $980 for refundable Pet Insurance that would be refunded upon delivery of Bella. Payment was made via Apple Pay. I then received an email from the Pet Nannies saying Bella’s health paper work was not current and unless I paid $1000 she would be placed in quarantine for 15 -20 days. I immediately contacted Angie with Uptown Maltipoo who stated she would not allow that to happen. Angie stead she would talk to officials and get back with me. She later emailed with information of where to send payment. She didn’t acknowledge it was something on her end but like it was some unknown reason to her. After thinking about this situation I emailed Angie back asking whether she has previously used this service and she didn’t respond. I then checked Uptown Maltipoo web page which stated medical records would be current prior to shipment. I sent an email with attached shipping instructions from Uptown Maltipoo to Angie with no response. As of this date I have received no response. Bella the puppy is supposedly being quarantined at Dallas Fort Worth airport and will remain there unless $1000 refundable payment is made. I then stopped the process in view of this request. I checked Uptown Maltipoo Puppies web page today, 1/10/25, which shows Bella available for purchase. I have accepted the fact I have been scammed and would very much like assistance with any remedy to possibly get my money back. I paid $780 to Uptown Maltipoo Puppies and $970 to the Pet Nannies for refundable Pet Insurance. Thank you. t.
