I was interested in purchasing some pure oolong tea, and this company sells it online. I only wanted to try it once. I had no interest in signing up for anything beyond that. Their website is VERY confusing. I saw what I wanted right away and clicked on a button allowing me to purchase one or two (buy 1 get 1 free) bags of the tea. Every time I wanted to move forward, the site changed to present a different way of buying more tea than I wanted. They also were trying to sell all kinds of products, so many that I started clicking through to move ahead to the end where I could confirm what I wanted them to send to me. I never saw a confirmation page showing this is what I want to order. (I did see a page to enter payment early on so they already had my card #). When I saw that every time they showed me my purchase choice, they had added a charge for faster shipping (WHICH I NEVER ACTIVATED. THEY DID THAT ON THEIR END). It was an extra $9.99. The fact that I couldn't remove that was one of the reasons I didn't want any part of this company. I was still waiting to see the page that shows me the FINAL list of items I was paying for. It never came up: just more products to add to the cart. I left the site only to discover later on that they had charged me for $134.93!! I called and never got through. I wrote to their customer service link *[email protected] and left a long message of all the charges that I did not initiate. I added that I wanted them to delete the order and send me credit for those charges. So far, I have not seen any credit from them. I would like people to be warned about this company. It's shameful of how they take advantage of others.
