Saw the ad on instagram and went to the website to make a purchase. Product arrived about 25 days later complete and undamaged, but failed to meet many of the specifications on the website. The website claims high ballistic ratings and even includes a picture of a HPwhite certificate in the products description- but the product is just plastic The HPwhite certificate (HPWLI 000002457) is dated march 26 2014 and tracks to a chinese company called "Beijing Tongyizhong Specialty Fiber Technology & Development Co., Ltd.". Tachelmet also seems to be based in china based on the terms and conditions on the website, but i highly doubt the two are the same. Furthermore, terms and service goes onto say that the website owners are not liable for any false information on thier website. Aforementioned delivery by "uniuni" is suspicious because the 'from' portion of the label identifies a "Sarah, contact #0000000000, 2164 Bloomingdale Rd." That address leads to a shopping center in Illinois. Upon further investigation, the shopping center "Jewel-Osco" does not seem to have any connection or affiliation with "Uniuni", leading me to believe that the product was shipped to an undisclosed location and then repackaged. The phone number listed on the website is answered by a automated line that states "the number could not be completed as dialed" and then hangs up. The telephone number is purposefully deceptive, and goes against the websites "24/7 customer support". I have yet to get a return from the email provided "[email protected]" The paypal purchase was made towards "Vicky Co., LTD." And has no contact information through paypal. Vicky Co., LTD is either a japanese women’s clothes store or a chinese wood and furniture provider. I have good reason to believe that paypal account is not who it says to be.
