Description

I am filing a complaint regarding an unauthorized charge, deceptive advertising, misleading communication, and unreasonable delay in issuing a refund. An order was placed using my payment information without my authorization. I contacted the company immediately upon discovering the charge and requested cancellation and a full refund. The company delayed resolution by requesting “proof” instead of addressing the unauthorized charge. They later claimed the order had already shipped, stating cancellation would cause “logistics issues,” and attempted to pressure me into accepting a 50% partial refund, which I rejected. After escalation, the company stated they would issue a full refund, but only after 15–30 business days, which is unreasonable for an unauthorized charge. Additionally, after previously stating the order had already shipped, the company later sent a new email stating the product was now on its way, contradicting their earlier statements. Further, the company appears to be impersonating the brand “Hollister” on TikTok by advertising a “major sale” in a manner that leads consumers to believe they are purchasing directly from Hollister. After the transaction, it became clear the company is not affiliated with Hollister, and the products being sold are not Hollister merchandise. I have screenshots documenting this deceptive advertising. Due to these issues, I have also contacted my bank and reported the charge, providing all supporting documentation.
