Description

The person posted selling a puppy online. Through facebook messenger, there was contact made to discuss the puppy. A price was agreed upon and a deposit was placed to come meet the puppy and if all went well, take the puppy home and pay the difference. If not, the seller agreed to refund the deposit immediately. A day later, the seller contacted asking for more money because they were at the vet clinic trying to get the pet records updated and they needed money to pay the balance they owed. They sent 2 different venmo accounts to send the money to. Neither of those people could be found on facebook or a a vet clinic in des moines iowa. When we did not agree, she indicated that we were not the right people for the puppy. When we asked for the deposit back she only replied with a thumbs up. They have ignored our request for the deposit to be returned.
