Description
I was looking for a miniature schnauzer puppy and I came across Miniature Schnauzer Haven on Facebook. In Facebook, they are listed as Miniature Schnauzer Puppies. I inquired about a puppy and asked if they would accept $600 instead of the asking price of $850. Kacionna agreed. I zelled Kacionna’s husband, Benjamin first for $300 and then I zelled Kacionna the remainder $300. The money transactions were sent on 11/17/2025 & 11/18/2025. Kacionna told me the puppies would be ready in a week from when we had our first communication on 11/17/2025. I started to get suspicious when Kacionna would not send any updated or live pictures of the puppy I had chosen. She always had an excuse. On 11/21/2025, Kacionna reached out to me saying the puppy was having gastrointestinal issues and was asking for another $300. Again, my suspicions were growing. I have read up on puppy scams and read about how the scammer will lie about a puppies health to get more money out of a person. I refused to send the extra $300. I reported to my bank about the fraud and was able to recover $204.93. So now I’m out $395.07. I have reached out several times asking for a refund or to get the puppy and still left with nothing, but excuses. Also, Kacionna told me the puppies are in Austin Texas but when I looked her and her husband, Benjamin up, it shows they are in Kansas City, Missouri.
