I took advantage of a special they were advertising to get some presents for my daughter and her friends of buy 5 get 3 free of their color changing Christmas cup. It had a video where the glass had white Christmas lights stringed around it but when you put a drink in it it changed to colored light bulbs. I thought this was so cute for my middle school daughter and her friends. I had to reach out to them in November when I still had not received them yet and the tracking information had no new information than it had weeks before. Tuesday 12/2 I received the cups. I was so disappointed to open them to see that they were glasses with Christmas lights wrapped around them that were colored stickers and not color changing at all. I thought that maybe they were cold from being outside so I took the glass out to let it warm up but nope, they were just colored stickers. I could have gotten these glasses anywhere or even made them myself. The whole reason I wanted and ordered these glasses were that they were color changing. I reached out to customer service stating that they weren't color changing and that it was deceptive with what they advertised on the video and stated in my confirmation email. They asked for pictures of all the things dealing with the order, which I sent over to them. They responded to me "that upon inspection by their warehouse, the items dispatched to you align with your original order. As a sign of goodwill, we would like to offer compensation of $10 in the default currency. Will that be acceptable?" I responded to them that it is better than nothing but that they were gaslighting me by saying that it was in alignment with what I ordered since the cups weren't color changing at all. They were not like they were advertised in the video or on the email confirmation that stated color changing. This was clearly a scam and deceitful advertising and I don't want others to lose money to them for them not being honest with the goods that they are selling. I gave them the chance to make it right but they didn't offer for me to return to get a full refund, all they did was offer $10 after I spent $117. I am just tired of companies doing stuff like this!
