OMNI TECH OPS posted a fraudulent GEICO customer service page on the internet. When I called the number, they claimed they were GEICO customer service and they requested my policy number. OMNI TECH OPS then used my policy number and a fraudulent credit card to attempt to make a payment on my GEICO account, and were then able to access my policy information. The payment was almost immediately declined by GEICO, but at that point, they had my information. They then asked for my credit card information to make a payment on the account. GEICO later confirmed that the have no affiliation with OMNI TECH OPS and that they NEVER request payment over the phone. OMNI TECH OPS even sent me a confirmation email from GEICO describing what was needed to make the change on my policy I was requesting. I unfortunately gave them credit card information, and they charged $250.00 to my credit card, and then made several other charges adding up to over $1,000 with other merchants with my credit card. My credit card company immediately notified me of the suspected fraudulent charges, and cancelled the credit card and reissued a new one. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CALLING ANY OF THESE CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBERS, ESPECIALLY GEICO, make sure it is the correct number! OMNI TECH OPS is a scam "social media" company and I would suggest NEVER doing business with them.

OMNI TECH OPS is a legitimate IT and digital services provider offering services such as website design, development, and technology consulting. We have no affiliation, partnership, or authorization with GEICO or any insurance company, and we do not provide insurance-related services, customer support, or policy payment assistance. Our company never requests insurance policy numbers, credit card details over the phone, nor do we process payments on behalf of insurance providers. The activities described in this report do not align with our business model, operations, or practices. It appears that an unknown third party may have impersonated our business name to conduct fraudulent activity. Unfortunately, this type of impersonation is common and can mislead consumers by using legitimate company names without authorization. We did not authorize, process, or receive any of the transactions mentioned in this complaint. Any charges incurred were not processed through our merchant accounts or systems. We respectfully request that this report be reviewed as a case of misidentification and impersonation, and that OMNI TECH OPS not be held responsible for actions carried out by unrelated third parties.
